Other than being a "tough" white guy, what of Diener does Davison have?  Diener had an edge and attitude and was an assassin, thats why opposing teams hate him.  But he was never dirty or had a nationwide reputation for it.  Thats why teams hate Davison, not cause he's a killer with the ball.

Diener was a stud PG who shot over 41% from 3 over his career, averaged 7 assists in his last 2 years, and could distribute or score in huge bunches.

Davison has shot 30% from 3 this year, is under 35% for the majority of his career, and has been a single digit career scorer most of his career.  He also barely averages 2 assists per game.

I'll like leaders at the point. Both are facilitators but can go off when needed. The difference is Travis had to his last two seasons, Davison has a better supporting cast. Markus was a gunner who didn't play Dso that isn't an apt comparison (though both are big time into FCA so there is something in common.

Markus was a pure scorer who had to play PG, undersized and learned to play some D, but most energy was spent on offense. Travis did and still does so many things (TBT) that don't even show in box score. I mean Travis won us the game for us to be able to get to FF. Travis never punched any player below belt.

Davison isn't a their PG or a PG in general, Hepburn is. And for a "facilitator" he has none of the stats to back it up.  You're literally creating some narrative about him as a player that is backed up by nothing but fantasy.

But he needs to start landing some big time players. Most of the current kids are 3 star or lower
