What was a worse ending on Monday?

Rutgers v Tennessee Women
Nova v Georgetown

Mayor McCheese

If you didn't see the games....  you probably wouldn't vote... but just to recap

Rutgers women robbed from the clock stopping at .2 seconds, enough time for Tennessee woman to grab a rebound and get fouled, refs keep call (which amazed me, since all they had to do was look back and see the clock stopped)

Nova game, just read other posts... foul called with .1 seconds on a bogus play...

both ruined fun games to watch.

gotta go with the women's game, here's why: tennessee couldn't convert and would've lost b/c they were down by 1. I don't get why the clock even stopped there. I smell something fishy

Yeah I don't know how they messed up that bad. They said the refs' whistles stop the clock automatically when they are blown, so 1 of them must have inadvertantely blown their whistle and then not owned up to it. Can't see how you mess that up with replay available...

Mayor McCheese

Ive just never understood clock malfunctions at all... whether or not it goes by official's whistle (which I heard at Tenn it does), you have someone who's 1 job is to start and stop clock, how hard can that be, I mean honestly?  and yes I have done both, reffed and worked the scoreboard/clock, never had I just stopped the clock out of no where... and with replay, what gives?  Rutgers lost a very quality win, although they will still make the tourney.

Without a doubt Rutgers was the worse mistake if you ask me.

If you watch after the "foul" the GTown guy is actually forced out of bounds by the Nova guy's "bump" and his trying to get in the way.  So the ref had to blow a whistle one way or the other.  Now he should have just called OB with .1 on the clock and no shot possible anyway, but he probably didn't know the exact reading on the clock.

what Wright was complaining about (rightly) was that his players were hit on a lot harder on their last possession and no foul was called. Total BS, but to be expected in college hoops.

Agreed - the end of the GTown-Nova game was total BS, but I still think the Rutgers game was worse.

actually if you watch closely... Scottie Reynolds uses his arm a lot, I personally thought a offensive foul was needed on that possession
