It's from sports-reference.com, and includes the disclaimer "Output includes games since 1949-50 where both schools were classified as major schools (i.e., Division I or equivalent)."  so completely understandable.  UW doesn't have that much history as a D1 school...

They do, but that's in part because they were 36-12 against MU before the invention of color TV. Since then MU has owned the series, 47-32

Given how terrible we were for the vast amount of pre 1955 it's actually astonishing we won 12, didn't we only have like 3 or 4 good years?

they're the one BE team I do not ever root for (and they are the defending tourney champs) and we Nova is the king of the conference right now. Bucky is just another non-conference game we obsess over but they don't, feeding into their claims of an inferiority complex.

Them saying they don't obsess over it isn't the same as them not obsessing over it.

Badger football fans don't care. Average Badger fans don't care. But the hatred/obsession runs deep with Badger basketball fans.
