Skatastrophy

Narrated by Mike Jakubowski

> Plan Bleuteaux is a short documentary surrounding Marquette University's forgotten mascot, Bleuteaux.  This story takes you through the school's history as the "Warriors" and the identity struggle between mascot and nickname.

How did you all let me miss this?

Okay, how did they promote these so poorly? The same team made "Doomsday Warrior" in 2015, a year before the Bleuteaux documentary

>"Doomsday Warrior: The Story of George Andrie" narrated by ESPN's Linda Cohn. George was a standout high school football player from Michigan who went on to play college football at Marquette until the program was dropped in 1960. Andrie, a two-way star for the Warriors, was drafted as a defensive end by the Dallas Cowboys in 1962. George helped guide the franchise to their first NFL Championship in the 1971 season, defeating the Miami Dolphins 24-3 in Super Bowl VI.

The yak? Really?

This was really cool. It always came off that Bleuteaux was much shorter lived. He would probably be better received today. Androgynous is in.

I wonder if Rico saw that some of the crowd were dressed in suits.

I was there for two of those years.  Pretty funny to think back on that.  I think they should bring him/her back for National Marquette day (only) every year and add to the legend.

Can you imagine Blueteaux (so?) being announced before the game with the Golden Eagle mascot.  It would be hilarious and I guarantee the crowd, including the students would get into it, especially if this video was sent out by MU in preparation for it.

No mention of the Batman 2nd rate substitute after Blueteaux was retired?
