Lol I'd apologize to all the Bonnies but the notable alumni list is sad enough I'm not sure it's worth it.

Hey Galway Eagle. Real wise guy. Please list your worthy alumn that compare to ours? I know of none. Wait, I do know one - Al McGuire. That's right. He wanted the Bona job before he went to Marquette and we turned him down. Look it up!

Dwayne Wade better than Bob Lanier? Now that's funny. Ask any qualified NBA personal guy who has seen both and that argument is over. Chris Farley? Seriously? That's the best you can do? Compare that to our list and it's no contest. Keep trying.

Suburban Olean is lovely.  Drove through it once on the way back from Cooperstown.  And you guys have a really nice team this year.  The pride of the  A-10.  You deserve your ranking.   I expect you to be favored tomorrow.
What happens next year?   When this golden class graduates?   It takes time to rebuild at a mid major after a class like this leaves.  What are your prospects going forward?

I've always like the Marquette program, but not crazy about the attitude of some your fans. Some of you guys act like your some kind of blue blood program.

Looking forward to tomorrow's game. You guys have a nice team and will give us a battle. Should be fun to watch.

Really? It's one thing to be proud of your alumni, but another to come to a rival board and tell fans of another University that their alumni are inferior to your own.

If you're gonna come onto another teams thread defending your schools honor then use some facts. Wade is flat out better than Lanier, after Lanier who's next? I'd put at least 5 of MU's NBA players over your next best. And for the record literally every top NBA players all time list (if it even included Lanier) has Wade higher, take of the glasses ye wee Bonny lad.

https://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/bob_lanier_vs_dwyane_wade.htm

Laughing at Chris Farley? Who do you guys put out in the comedic acting world? Chris Farley and Danny Pudi (also could include Bob Odenkirk who didn't finish at MU) are both by far more well known than Sean Cullen (who I had to look up your own touted alumni list to even find a comedian)

Chuck Daley is a wash with Doc Rivers  IMO but I'll give you guys the edge there.

The list touts Deb Henretta which is fair (go woman Execs!) but quickly drops to touting a Vice President of a company, not CEO, CLO, CFO, COO or CMO but a VP? Yeah that's when I started laughing and wrote what I did. Off the top of my head the MU alumni list will tout at least the  CEOs of these: Texas Instruments, Sears (when it was a big deal), Kohls, SPS (if you aren't in tech you don't know what this is), and SS & C

Won't take anything away from Father Judge dudes a hero.

Look if you're gonna cry about it make a funny alumni list on your forum making fun of the chick from MU that posed for playboy.

Dwayne Wade better than Bob Lanier?

Yes, and it's not particularly close. The NBA titles, Finals MVP, oh, and only one was on the NBA top-75 list (spoiler: it's not Lanier). And Lanier also wasn't on the original top-50 list despite being a voter for that list.

And seriously, ask anyone off campus under the age of 35 who Bob Lanier is and all you'll get are blank stares. He was a nice player. 40 years ago.

But in the end, you are a cute little program mired in the A10 playing the likes of Fordham and Dayton in conference games in front of 4,200 fans (lol).  That must be nice!

I honestly can’t take this Bonaventure slander.

We don’t have any good alums?

Um, Adrian Woj-something! He’s big!

Peter Davis class of 2006. The TOP salesman in Western NY for certified pre-owned Mazdas??

Bob Ross class of 1979. The Hot Tub King of  Cattaraugus County!

Sarah Neufeld- Matriculated 1999-2001. Store Manager - Wegmans Mt. Read Blvd?

I could go on and on, but us BONNIES are humble!

Looking forward to a good game tomorrow. Tell Shaka, sometimes people look better without hair. He’s one of them!

I crap you not.

The Bona students used to beat the crap out of the student that had to dress up as the Bona Fanatic. I’m pretty sure one student broke a leg or a rib after getting tossed down stairs at the A10 Tourney in the late 80s early 90s.

From the Bonnie's own board:

"I love Big Bob, but come on, D. Wade might be a bit better then the Dobber."

I have faith in the Bonnie's education again

Can we talk about the Brown Indian mascot now?

Also, the Bona Fanatic is almost as good as Bleuteaux

Forget the Brown Indian.  I wanna hear more about The Brown Squaw!
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
