My heart broke when I saw this. Don Kojis was an incredible player and an incredible man.

Truly one of the all time greats at MU.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Wow....what a sad day.  From everything I've heard or read he is easily a top 5 Warrior.  My deepest condolences to his family.

Different era and game when he played but still a great cager.  Well before my time but never heard a cross word about him on and off the court.  A great Marquette representative from all indications.
Ramsey will bring Marquette great glory

Still thinking about Don Kojis . Mr. Dodds had a very well written obituary

There is a recent interview with Don at the 100th anniversary event.

Also there is some silent film footage of Don from the Pros. I watched Don many times in the pros and his game is what stimulated my interest in MU basketball. He was a player much ahead of his time that truly got the hard rebounds.

I listened to Marquette games  on the radio in grade school. Don Kojis and Walt Mangahm were really incredible players.  It was because of them that I enrolled at Marquette.

What are we doing to honor Mr. Kojis?  Is something planned for the 27th?

Kojis Obituary in The San Diego Tribune . Very well written .  Gives a flavor of him on and off the court .
