This hire validates questions regarding Presutti's efficacy as an assistant coach at MU under the prior head coach.

I think it's telling that Presutti wasn't hired as an assistant coach but rather as an assistant athletic director of scouting.

It seems to be a better fit for Presutti.

How many one year assistants from a staff that was fired actually end up as assistants elsewhere?  It more speaks to his lack of experience more than anything.

Presutti was an assistant coach at MU for 2 seasons.

Presutti's lack of experience contributed to questioning his efficacy as an assistant coach at MU.

The fact of the matter is Presutti's first job after MU isn't as an assistant coach.  I believe this fact to be very telling.

Exactly. Wojo wouldn't  listen to the most experienced assistant coaches on his staff (except Stan who he had to to keep the roster together). Jake worked his way up to that spot the hard way, yet seems to incur the wrath of Scoop.

...maybe he took the job based more-so on the program
(high D-1), conference affiliation  (ACC) and potential future opportunities that may come. A step back to take two steps forward, so to speak.

Presutti's going to Pitt.  A program that hasn't finished better than 12th place in the ACC during the past 5 seasons.

It's interesting that Presutti accepted a coaching position at the high school level after being on MU's staff for the past 7 years with the last 2 years as an assistant coach.
