so you are saying Lazar intended to endanger others? I doubt that. More likely, Lazar understands that the COVID vaccine does not prevent infection, and does not prevent transmission. The vaccine reduces symptoms, as pharma has stated. It would appear Lazar is not vaccinated, reasons personal to him, and used poor judgement with falsified paperwork. But, intent?

He never said he intended to put others at risk.

He did though. And continues to.

This was one of my favorites. Coach Barry Switzer "accidentally" had a loaded gun in his bag going through airport security.

On the sliding scale of criminal activity, this ranks somewhere around printing a counterfeit $1 bill on your home printer.
A person getting away with counterfeiting a $1 bill is not going to stop there.

If a state is going to have extreme travel restrictions for tourists, they should provide testing. Asking private citizens to provide documentation will only lead to many situations like this.

Calling Zar a criminal is laughable. What he did was dishonest, not criminal. Literally, yes. Figuratively no.

First, this isn't extreme. Second, let's be clear, he's forging medical documents. This isn't a white lie, it's a planned deliberate act. Agree or disagree with the law, this is someone really going out of their way to deliberately break it.

A planned deliberate act? Take a step back from the ledge.

The guy is most likely unvaccinated and just wants to take a trip. He made a bad decision. Like it or not, it's the society we live in right now.

???  It was obviously deliberate.

Strange phrasing - the guy is clearly unvaccinated and wanted to go on vacation. He did something dishonest. He didn't get on a plane with any intent to do harm like the phrase makes it seem like.

I don't see anything about intent to do harm in the definition of deliberate.

If only there were like 49 states he could have traveled to without forging documents. Bottom line is he chose to ignore a municipality's guidelines by his own volition. I don't respect his vaccination status, however that's his issue, but by knowingly flouting the rules enough to get phony documents it clearly shows a disregard for the safety protocols, and local rules. He could have gone to Florida, Texas, etc etc and been mask free without a test or vaccine but elected to go somewhere he's not welcome so his punishment is warranted.

I'm not the one repeatedly arguing against the dictionary definition of words.

Sometimes words mean different things within a phrase and different sentences. The english language is complicated.

Agreed - the decision was foolish and dishonest. Crucified at the stake as some are suggesting? They should take a step back from the ledge.
