Diener's numbers getting better
« on: February 10, 2008, 11:14:31 AM »
A 15 point, 9 assist, 0 turnover start is a good indication of more playing time.

Here's RotoWire's assessment of his recent performance:

Diener hoisted 13 shots to get those 15 points, but also made three 3-pointers. He didn't turn the ball over and as a starter over the past eight games, he has a 5.9:1.0 A:TO rate. With the Indianpolis Star reporting that Jamaal Tinsley (knee) will be out until the All-Star break at a minimum, Diener should continue to see good minutes as Indiana's starter at point guard.

What about Novak? He had 9 against the Hawks last night.

Sorry, PRN. I guess that was just a blip and not significant enough for RotoWire to write about it.

But it's good to see his stroke coming back.
