We made some really boneheaded mistakes in many parts of the game that just shouldn't have happened. We got to play smarter than that. For instance, McNeal not picking up Ayers down the court and then giving up a 3 and a foul to him. That was huge. We missed tons of layups and the refs screwed us some as well. I'm not blaming the refs for the loss, but you've got to admit they made somewhat of a difference(that's life on the road though). The good teams still have to overcome the refs like we did in Madison. That missed call where Hayward was leading the break was a critical one late in that game. It should've been MU's ball. There's no doubt in my mind that we're the better team. We just came up short having to try to make-up for all of our mental mistakes and the home cooking that ND got from the zebras.

Ooooo, I forgot about that over and back call. But, I am hoping we turned a corner today, because I agree that we are pretty clearly better then ND, or at the very least, they match up with us, like we match up with UL.

outscored, yes, not outplayed.  You're crazy if you think ND played better than we did today.

MUNY - are you new to college Bball in the BE?
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

ND is one of those teams that some how wins a lot of games, but come tourney time (BE tourney and ncaa) I would not put any money on them.  I am hoping MU can take these losses and find a positive (lazar's play, fitz confidence, cubes confidence)

How do you equate McNeal missing layups, poor passing and a ton of fouls "out playing" anyone?  ND played poor and MU played with nothing to lose @ the end.

Jerel is killing them on offesense.

I agree. his out of control play at times just kills the team. his shooting is pitiful.

MU NY

One dimensional team on a major slide through the middle of the BE conf. rankings.  NIT here we come.  There are no other threats on this team offensively other than James and Lazar.  That make McNeal and Matthews easier to defend.
