Best Euro Dunk by an MU Alum...

My memory has it as a MJ dunk contest leaner style. There were lots of other incredible alley oops though. Memories are weird though, not sure if I have it right.

It was along the baseline from the right side of the hoop, in front of the student section.  It was preposterous

Terrell Schlundt alley-oop to Doc against Louisville in 1983.

That's the correct answer.

Blew the roof off the Arena and forced Crum to call a TO, as MU was rallying.

MU ended up losing the game, though.

The "and 1" against Kentucky is Wade's most memorable dunk but his dunk against East Carolina was his best in a Marquette uniform.

Henry threw tons of great alley oops to Wade, too.  My favorite was the reverse jam at DePaul.

There it is!  The one against DePaul was the best I've seen.  Apparently he ripped his fingernail off on the rim.  I was there at the Rosemont and that dunk had everyone out of their seat.  No tv so I never got to see a replay of it but it was insane!

Unclejohn from the other board had photographed Wade, mid flight on that dunk.  MU used it, on their ticket brochure the following year.  I had the picture as my wallpaper on my computer for a long time.

This is what I was going to post.  The most memorable (good) MU play when I was a student,m. I can still picture it.

Even though we lost, that was a hell of a game. Like a heavyweight fight where both boxers were just throwing haymakers the whole time.

Yes! Was at that one also.

video of number 1?
I only saw it in person....and it was a tight game....4 or 6 points.  The Jerry curl was flying through the air.
I would love to see a wisn highlight of that.

Best missed dunk was Burton against Wisconsin Lutheran. Don't think it was even televised, but he put so much force into it, the ball shot up off the rim a good 30-40 feet straight up. It was seriously more impressive than had he finished it.

Yes—if I recall it was an over and back because the missed dunk came all the way out to half court. Or something similar to that.

DJ had several incredible jams this past season. Not sure where they rank, but a couple had national announcers screaming praise.
Yes—watch all the games with my daughter and every time...it was OMG!
Next week...DJ drives the lane....hammering dunk....OMG!
Surprised each time. Highlight in a dismal season for sure

It was amazing that he was able to pull off the old "fake dribble hand-off drive for dunk" play as often as he did.

Was at that game. The best part about it was that it was in the last 30 seconds of a 20 point blowout over the cards. NO MERCY

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

The allyoop to Doc is very, very high on my list. Artie and Burton were the two best overall dunkers imo.

Wade vs. ECU

Next.

I've often wondered if the fact that only the 11,000 in attendance actually saw the dunk added to the mystique of it.

My dad and I were sitting in 410, which was on the opposite end of the floor. Wade drove left baseline and took off from what I thought was an absurd distance. Nope. One hand hammer on Moussa Badiane, who was the leading shot blocker in the conference.

That is a great picture. It doesn't even look physically possible to dunk the ball from that angle and distance.

That was the best I ever saw live.  The pass being so poor and Doc somehow reigning it in and completing the dunk was just amazing.

Doc's adjustment was unreal. That was a special dunk in MU history.

Not the best ever, but I've always enjoyed Derrick Wilson over Paul White.
