If we deviated from hiring rising assistants and hired a proven head coach that Ultima failed, we would be looking at a once again hiring a rising assistant coach.

So a guy like Wojo (2014) most likely.

If we had hired Shaka in 2014, he would be starting Year 9 of the Smart Dynasty at Marquette.  We would not be looking for a new coach this year, or any other year, until Shaka decides to retire with high honors and accolades. 

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
