I wanted Ole Miss in the first round but I was hoping to be on the opposite side of the bracket of Elon. Not that it matters, we'll just have to Alderaan the Rebels.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

More Per ESPN
Something for the college hoops junkies: A decade ago, Shaka Smart led VCU on a memorable Final Four run and, after an up-and-down tenure at Texas, he gets a fresh start at Marquette. This event will be an early look at a group that will rely on a multitude of new faces, including Maryland transfer Darryl Morsell.

Bought our tickets.  I hate having to register for everything these days.
I was at the VCU first and second  round games in Chicago the year they went to the FF.  Their fans had a really great cheer, we were rooting for them.

Will they sell individual game tickets at any point? Or is it an all or nothing thing

They usually sell by each session at a later point.

Yes. the website says individual session sales start in October. They also cautioned that the last 3 times they held the tournament with fans in the stands, lower seats with backs were sold out before individual tickets went on sale. I have no way of knowing if that's the truth or just a way to get advance sales, but that's what it says.

Well, there aren't many manly men like you left out there who punch their wives in the face if those women try to talk or think.

Mrs. Dribble is lucky to have you to keep her in check and make all her decisions for her.

The tix are cheap, considering they are for all games.  I've heard most folks don't use all of them, so there should be plenty being sold (Clemson fans will sell their seats to non-Clemson games, for instance).

Is anyone heading to Charleston this year? If so, any tips on areas to stay or places to eat for those who have been there before? First time for us…My wife and I (and 3 small kids) plan to attend.

For those of you who have never attended a holiday tournament, I highly recommend it. The Orlando Invitational was incredible.

Big fan of the Charleston food scene, have a few places I love. I like to stay at Restoration on King.

My fave food spots:

Fast and French
Leyla Lebanese
Husk (even if you can only get in for lunch, it’s worth it)
Queen Street Grocery
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit

Hannibal’s Kitchen

Went to the Old Slave Mart, the Battery, and Fort Sumter the last time there.

Restaurants
Fleet Landing - waterfront patio perfect on a nice day.  Beware the gulls.
Hall’s Chophouse
82 Queen
39 Rue de Jean

Hotels
The Charleston Marriott is very nice. Courtyard Historic District also nice and I believe arena is right there.

21Jump and ATL ... thanks muchly for the restaurant suggestions. We hope to eat some good grub!

Also, Edmunds Oast is one of my favorite breweries in the southeast, so we're looking for a few tasty beers, too.

For those bringing the wives, Circa 1886 will impress. Bring the wallet you left home for the past two years of lockdown
