As noted in the justice's comments, such were not the normal oral argument Q&A type queries on positions or points...almost all the justices were simply telegraphing their takes. Looks very bad for NCAA. Guessing a 6-3 NCAA loss on the issue appealed....

The bigger door beyond this case is a finding that NCAA structure is violative of antitrust...congress gave baseball an exemption, but wont  give one to NCAA....College free agency? Speculations are entertaining

If they do rule in favor of the athletes it will affect the P5/P6 schools in football and basketball moreso. Many of athletes that go to those schools are looking toward the NFL/NBA or Euro-leagues whereas I think especially in basketball the players in the mid-major or low major programs are truly getting their athletic scholarships today to pay for their 4 year under graduate academic education.
