Spaniel with a Short Tail

Collar points too wide. Knot a little off but acceptable...for a start.

Some wojo assistants watching....

GoldenWarrior11

Did I just see Presutti and Gainey in the crowd?

What an incredibly genuine human being

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

JoeSmith1721

He's killing it, very impressive.

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

Has not met with the players in person yet.

Easy to see why an interview went well for him

Yes.

Smart is now listed as the head coach on the basketball page, with Gainey still as associate head coach and Presutti as assistant coach.  Madhavapallil is no longer listed as DOBO; could this be where Cody Hatt slides in?

Man, once that first nervous moment was over. He just stepped up to the plate. Really excited for our University. Really excited for the guys on the team. What an amazing steward he will be.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I'm pretty sure he isn't coming here to take a step down.  My guess is that staff changes just haven't been formally announced.

Already sharing how great this place will be to future players, eh?

C'mon down David and Tamar.  ;D

Wow. Definitely seems like the right hire. Only time will tell and I hope we as a fanbase can be patient for a couple more years...

Can a member of the press please ask Shaka why, after being offered the job and turning it down seven years ago, it's the right move this time around?  What has changed?

DienerTime34

First win = this press conference. Now for some recruiting wins.

I can answer that for you. Lovell and Scholl being in place.

JakeBarnes

Ben Steele with a big one on the recruits.

Needles went for it.

Because of a press conference?

MikeDeanesDarkGlasses

I can remember all of the people who were awed by Wojo's introductory presser.  It's like......c'mon people, whatever is said in the presser doesn't have an impact on the court.

Oldgym

Wow, Dan Needles asked the question about seven years ago.

Shaka: "Someone reported something that wasn't true."

Left it at that.

bradforster

Thank you Chitown for the insight, but I'd like to hear it from the man himself.  I think Dan Needles just asked the question.

CAGASS24

Answered the big question sufficiently for me - now get to work baby!!!!!
