MUHF2 has been here awhile. His style is to carpet bomb the board with all caps posts at like 3 in the morning every few weeks. Usually overwhelmingly positive towards whoever the coach is.

Pitino did a remarkable job with nothing at Iona.   I can't imagine what he would do with something and a little luck.
He would fit right in with the typical Big East coach.  The question is, does Marquette pick a typical Big East coach or another mild-mannered midwest gentleman?

Pitino isn't a criminal. He had an affair and didn't have enough controls on his program, but we need to win, period. Marquette won't go that direction, fine, but while I'm sure Marquette won't hire a woman HC, I did advocate to Scholl just yesterday there should at least be a female assistant on staff. And you know which coach hired the first ever female D1 assistant? If you read the article, you know.
