Not a surprise.

Good luck to him.  Like his mindset as a player, but I think his moving on is the best decision for him.

Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Remember that Zapruder-esque shot of the white board where it showed Symir's name even though no one was sure if he'd reclassify or not, and how excited and slurpy everyone got?  It was that summer's Akanno mixtape.

Anyway, good luck to Sy.  I imagine he'll level down, and hope he finds starter's minutes at his next school.

Damn.  I forgot about that and how excited we got....

Best decision for both sides, wish him nothing but the best, seems like a good young man.

As others said in another thread, Albany would now make sense for a lot of reasons.

He can be the Traci Carter of Albany.

Best of luck to Sy and hope he finds his dreams.

All kinds of optimism today on the "Word is swirling" thread!

Otherwise ...

Best of everything to Sy.

Good luck, Sy. I hope you have great success at your next stop--true class act.

Great kid. Best of luck Sy!

Good luck to Sy wherever he lands.

Too bad about Symir. He goes while Wojo-Dukiet is still hanging around. Another Wojo-Dukoiet screw up.

Symr was over his head, but do you blame a kid for not trying to better himself.  I am blaming Wojo for recruiting him, but you can also put the
blame on Killings for recruiting a kid that does not even have a jump shot, could not jump, and had average quickness.  His shooting stats explain
everything.  In saying this, when on the bench, he was always supporting his teammates, good kid, good luck in the future.  This is much like Traci
Carter.

Very unfortunate, loved Sy's attitude and competitiveness.

Wish great things for his future.

Told you guys this a few weeks ago but best of luck to Symir, seems like a good kid.

Looks like Wojo's team will continue to stay young. :(

Good call.  Looks like he & wojo handled it like adults since he got playing time through the end.

Agreed!

Good kid, change of scenery should be good for his on-court play and guessing Albany is a good bet

Best of Luck to Sy
