I would pay with Amex if I bought them, but MU does not accept Amex, probably cause they hate America.

I prefer not getting the 50% AMEX service charge being passed on to me.

'merica sucks, hey?

After 4 years of telling anyone who complained about anything happening in America, you'd think conservatives would know they're welcome to move to a different part of the world if they don't like what's happening here.

Only took Biden a month and 8 days to take it from "great" to "sucks" to you? Must be doing something right then.
America was never that great, as the left says! They should find a new country.

I love America so much, that I want to see it live up to its full potential. It has yet to do so.

Not so,but glad you finally got on the bus. Better late than never. And speaking of comprehension, results analysis for you can't be too high if it took you to get on the bus this late.

Personally don't think so. The results were good, not great, but good until February 12, 2020. I gave him a year to turn it around. He hasn't even shown progress to turning it around so I think it's time to move on.

I am so confused. Why would people want to renew their tix to watch trash? I would pay with Amex if I bought them, but MU does not accept Amex, probably cause they hate America. Why are people such jerks on this board. It's just an internet chat room.
What a surprise, you're a drooling right-winger. Of course.

Me and a lot of young alums I know refuse to get season tix again until Wojo is gone and the team and University moves from politics. They have no idea the damage they have done with things like Theo's comments or embracing a felon rapist. People don't like that stuff.

Yeah, MU (and especially Theo) honoring a guy who committed violence against women turned my stomach.

Wojo's lefty political viewpoint is one reason he won't be fired.  He's entrenched until he leaves on his own

Not a lot of college basketball coaches honor QAnon, so that is kind of a push.

Al was ahead of his time on issues of race.
Rick was liberal.

From that perspective, Wojo is just following in a MU coaching tradition.

I know what side Al would be on today and he'd be on the side of Theo John.

He would. And he'd probably be even more vocal and outspoken due to the platform he had. Everyone would know exactly where he stood.

Sometimes there is speculation where a historical figure would come down on the issues of the current day. There is no question where Al would be.

Al wouldn't support a felon rapist either. Wojo and the team does, or at least appear to by their actions. That's the difference. Hausers were smart to skip town and leave this dumpster fire. Al was also a major success. Wojo is an utter failure. Just stating facts, I don't need to engage in ad hominem attacks to do so or attack the fan base that pays for my scholarship. But what do I know.

Silent Verbal

I think Al would've supported Theo's stance on social justice issues.  He would not, however, have tolerated his players telling one of our fans to "respectfully" stfu.

Al defended his players getting into fistfights on the floor and going into the stands.

Yup.  The difference in athleticism today was stark outside Lewis and Garcia.  Wojo's in-game coaching can't overcome mismatched rosters and that's been his biggest problem his entire tenure
Cain is the most athletic guy on our team and I think he is the only one that matches up strictly on that level with UConn.  He is the only guy we have that can jump with the UConn guys for a 50/50 ball and come away with it.

Lewis and Garcia have other basketball attributes that allow them to compete and perform very well with the likes of UConn, so the package is better, but Cain is very athletic.  What I like about Carton and Lewis is that they have a nose for the ball.  They instinctively do a lot of things well, though that is mostly true on offense and rebounding.  Their relative lack of quickness/athleticism hurts them on the defensive end, IMO.

Actually I think Al, as many people, wouldn't have taken the background of the victim into consideration when it comes to social justice.  Remember Jesus made time to bless the penitent thief while he was dying on the cross.

I forgot about that! There was one game on national tv where there was a bench clearing fight that lasted several minutes.

I was at a Marquette game in Milwaukee vs. South Carolina's all white team. One of their players was racially bating a Marquette player (think it was George Thompson) and in the final seconds the MU player punched the guy in the mouth and floored him.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.
