Actually, I hope this doesn't go to the off topic board.   There is a bit in here about coaching, about dreaming, about dying and the courage to deal with it.

Thank you for posting that.  I start chemo tomorrow and was just really feeling sorry for myself, that was inspiring.

You and your family are in my prayers as well, warriormom.

Chicos, thanks for posting that. It really is such an inspirational speech that everyone should hear. In fact, it really hits home with me even more beause I'm taking care of my dad who's battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer right now. Warriormom, my thoughts and prayers go out to you as well. My father started chemo 8 months ago and he's handling it pretty well so far. If you would like for me to share any information to you about anything just tell me and we can exchange emails or something. One thing I must say that is so vital in battling cancer is proper nutrition. I came across a very good book that I've recommended to many people about helping fight cancer. It's titled "Beating Cancer With Nutrition" by Patrick Quillin. I encourage you to purachase this book immediately. It really goes into detail about what foods and vitamins/supplements that people should consume more of to increase their chances of beating their cancer.

Greenbay....think of you as well.  That's a tough blow for your dad and your family.

I'll tell you guys, one of the other reasons I posted it was this professor's comments on coaches.  If they get on you, it means they care.  It means they want you to do better.  I thought that was also relevant based on the comments of late about coaches and getting on players.

Okay, so someone who had gone through chemo told me I should have a visual of the cancer cells being attacked by the chemo.
I came up with Bucky the Rodent carrying the cancer cells and Willie Wampum chasing him with his tomahawk.
Too politically incorrect? :D

We'll definitely call this the funniest thing I've heard all day. Keep that visual up, and you'll do great! (You should throw the Louisville cardinal in there too, for good measure...)
