PuertoRicanNightmare

I was very interested to look at that site because it contains our past schedules

In 2000...our non conference schedule included, among others:

Minnesota (road)
W. Michigan
Dayton
Baylor (road)
Wisconsin (road)
Xavier

In 2001
South Alabama
UMass
Minnesota
Arkansas Little Rock
Xavier (road)
Wisconsin
Dayton (road)

In 2002
Loyola
Dayton
Fordham
Wake Forest (road)
Wisconsin (road)

Chicos -- I thought the schedule has "always" been how it has been the past two years?

those are also in years where our conf schedule didn't include:
Georgetown
Notre Dame
UCONN
Syracuse
Pittsburgh
West Virginia
Providence

the more and more you talk about our ooc schedule PRN, the more and more I think you wish we still played in ConfUSA

For the closer to half-empty side, Jerry Palm has us finishing at 21-9 with an RPI of 48.

Other teams in the same neighborhood in those rankings for reference: Pitt 21-9, 31, ND 23-7, 35, cuse 20-11, 43, WV, 21-9, 47, Seton Hall, 22-9, 50. This just in; the next three are really big. On the other hand, nova is 16-14, 115 in those rankings, making that game looking more like a road W as time progresses.

The repercussions of the U of L game have me at less than 100 percent of MU in the tourney for the first time this season. A win Saturday would go a long way toward curing that.
GO WARRIORS!

PRN....I pointed this out clearly to you a few weeks ago.  In the last 16 years, we've played 2 road games in 14 of those years, 3 road games one time and 1 road game 1 time.  The key is and always will be, the need for the 16 home games, that's the issue.

Now, as far as the other home games....again, very simple...it's called the Big East and it's called making the NCAA Tournament.  As I also pointed out, as did many other sharp people here, once you start playing 16 or 18 conference games, your non-conference schedule gets even softer...fact of life and why 99% of major conference teams do this.

And remember I asked you and Damonkey if you guys were willing to take a bet that the next MU coach schedules the same way....you guys didn't take that bet...remember

I must not have seen it, I can't say no to a little heat.  What are the terms?

Chicos,

Did other coaches charter everywhere?
Did other coaches have a state of the art practice facility?
Did other coaches have support staff making high 5 figures?
Did other coaches have the ability to recruit Jucos and Prop 48s?
Did other coaches have carte blanche over all operations?

So when MU hasn't said no to TC in 9 years, why do you think the only thing the hold his feet to the fire on is a 16 game schedule?  Don't you think given how creative MU has been with everything else that if TC really wanted to play at Texas or at Bama or at Maryland this season that they could have found away around it?

I know all of the above cost something and thus revenue must be maintained but to think that we couldn't go with 1 less home game this season when it would net us a great home game next season is ridiculous.  If TC wanted to do it, he could.  He has changed every dynamic in the program (most of them for the better!), it's foolish to think he couldn't change this.
