No Justin Lewis today for MU, right leg injury.

Opportunity for Osa.

Or give Cain some time at the 4.

Would be a great opportunity for Oso to get a run.  It literally can not hurt us anymore than where we have been.

This literally is not true.

Against St. John's last time, Lewis had 13 (on 4-6 FG 5-6 FT), 7 reb, 2blk. He has had several other good games for us, including the most recent one at Providence, and he contributed the biggest single play for us the entire season.

So not having what Justin is capable of doing definitely can hurt us, and not having the depth he provided probably will hurt us.

Yup looks like a break-out game for Oso. How bad must he be in practice?

Fred Garvin

Are they red shirting him?

Agree on the turnover next season. I can't imagine how the three who never play can even be asked to return. All aboard the transfer portal!

its as if Wojo recruited a roster he has no use for. Odd. Season is a dog and Oso gets no PT. Dex, well, he must be bad. Sy is overmatched. I mean, was it all a swing & miss?

Anyone know Justin's status for today's game?

Based on Wojo's postgame comments, I wouldn't expect him to play. It sounded like he hurt it Saturday and there wasn't much of a timetable.

This says he's still out...but the quote that they use to justify that assertion doesn't really confirm that.

That sucks ... though some here will claim it's no big deal.

We R Final Four

More minutes for NBA prospect Jamal Cain.
Or, as one scooper believes, an opportunity for Osa to step up.

Well, some here claimed it was no big deal for UCONN that Bouknight got hurt, and that it didn't play any factor at all in a recent loss.  So yeah, I think you're right about that.

That's not what happened and I think you know that. There were posters suggesting that if the same thing happened to Marquette, some posters would claim that the injury was just an excuse. Also pointing out the reality that basketball is a game of runs. UConn built a huge lead without Bougknight and managed to collapse and lose also without Bougknight. Whether you build a lead early and collapse late, dig a hole early and the comeback is too little too late, or you lose a back and forth nailbiter, they all count the same.

Just like Juan Toscano-Anderson, all you need is a chance. I think Jamal can capitalize on the extra minutes. More time on court = more time with the ball in his hand and improving his handle.

I was just thinking that the one thing we need more of this season is Jamal dribbling the basketball.
