Louisville pressed us the whole night.  We broke the press pretty easily most of the time but when we did we never attacked before they could get set.  Now if there is one thing that drives MU nuts its a 2-3 zone.  So why just allow them to set up that zone.  Our best chance was to go after Louisville even if it was 2 on 2 or 3 on 3.  Now I understand that Louisville is very quick and recovers quickly and they are certainly as deep as MU.  Having said that I think a helter skelter game favors MU particularly with the home crowd behind them.  This is particularly true on a night when our shots aren't falling.
I don't usually criticism Crean's coaching but I don't see why he didn't demand that we attack immediately after breaking the press.  Its almost like he has so much faith in these specific offensive sets that he doesn't want to attack until he has all the right players in all the right places.  Unfortunately by that time the other team is set as well.

I agree completely.  They were not that many times we had numbers, but there was at least 3-4 times when we were at least even (3-3, 4-4) and yet we sat back and ran our ineffective half-court offense.  It made no sense.
