This game is absolutely why our defense frustrates me. Not just allowing unguarded threes, but giving a shooter 2-3 seconds without even token defense to prepare the shot. SJU is at least 5/7 on unguarded spot up threes by my count.

The rebounding/loose balls has been brutal. But I think the initial defense has been really solid. We forcing a bad jump shooting team into taking jumpers.

St. John's made the half time adjustment to attack MU's guards off of the bounce. Need to stay in front of your man. There's been some rim protection help a little bit but it's been successful. MU switches to zone and is late on corner 3 close out.

A few ill advised offensive fouls and unforced errors. McEwen will sit a while and is close to having at least 4 fouls in 8 of 14 games.
