Basketball?
« on: January 08, 2021, 11:18:47 AM »
Are there any threads left on the Hangin at the Al forum that haven’t become a political dumpster fire?

Asking for a friend.

To “be the difference” and part of the solution - I can start. Theo may be the most improved player (year 1 to year 4) that Wojo has ever had. Maybe Markus?

Theo and Sacar are exactly what you want to see out of 4 and 5 year players.  They should definitely be the lead in the Wojo Player Development PowerPoint.   It also makes you wonder what Theo would have been like last season with two good hands.

Ah yes Sacar. I nearly forgot about his development. We sat next to each other in business classes his redshirt year - great guy and even better player!

We need more Sacar’s and Theo’s coming through the program.

Agreed on Theo, off the top of my head.

Jamal has improved - rebounding, 3s, pull up shooting

Yes the thousand threads you've posted that are all about firing Wojo over and over and over again for years. Definitely worth blaming the politics for lack of discussion but your posting the same threads over and over bears blame for less discussion as well.

Jamal's 12 foot fall away is a great weapon as well.

Wtf does this mean?
He’s being a snarky doosh because I used apostrophes at the end of Sacar’s and Theo’s names when it wasn’t appropriate.

My posting about Wojo caused the board to devolve into a political dumpster fire? Don’t hurt yourself with that leap.

Dumpster fires are dumpster fires.  You carpet bomb the board with the same stupid crap every time Marquette loses.  Now you complain about what others post.

You know not to turn this into a rock fight but your posts are pretty consistently unproductive negativity as well. But instead of talking about the basketball program you snark at other posters...

I don't snark at many posters.  You are just biased because I snark at you.

I’ve seen you snark at at least 2 other posters in the last 24 hours. But go off, king.

Two isn't "many."  Are you sure you got your degree from Marquette?

Thanks for the nickname.

What’s with the quotation marks? Who said “many”. My quote was that you “snark at other posters”. Which I just proved to be true.

OK so I guess you aren't very intelligent.  Let me give you a lesson in communication here.

I said I don't snark at many posters here:

I don't snark at many posters.  You are just biased because I snark at you.

Which you responded to by claiming I snarked at 2 others in 24 hours.

I’ve seen you snark at at least 2 other posters in the last 24 hours. But go off, king.

That is why I said "two is not many."  Do you understand now?  Do you have the ability to comprehend how this conversation flowed?

Or are you just stupid?  Let me know because that will determine if you are actually worthy of having a conversation with.

I’m sorry that you think snarking at 2 unique posters plus myself in a 24 hours isn’t considered “many”. Maybe you’d be happier if you just stuck to the topics more often?

Class of 2014 (Perhaps shouldn't count, but included anyways)
Sandy Cohen (transferred to UW-GB, 2016)

Class of 2015
Sacar Anim (graduated - redshirt, 2020)
Traci Carter (transferred to LaSalle, 2016)
Haanif Cheatham (transferred to FGCU, 2017)
Henry Ellenson (left school for NBA, 2016)
Matt Heldt (graduated, 2019)

Class of 2016
Brandan Bailey (left school for pro opportunities, 2020)
Sam Hauser (transferred to Virginia, 2019)
Markus Howard (graduated and in NBA, 2020)

Class of 2017
Jamal Cain (expected to graduate, 2021)
Greg Elliott (expected to graduate, 2021; one year of eligibility remaining)
Ike Eke (expected to graduate, 2021)
Theo John (expected to graduate, 2021)

After listing each of the classes that are eligible to graduate (through 2017), it is eye-opening that three players thus far have stayed all four years (Wojo has been here seven years).  The four this year will definitely add to the numbers and help, but it is still surprising to say the least.  2018's class only had Joey, so that class is a bust in this regard.
