No, I mean that there were MU fans that thought we should have hired Hurley.  Their arguments were that despite being at a school with worse history (way overused argument IMO) Hurley has had more tournament wins (his one win came in Dayton), and was a preseason top 15 team (because he returned a good but not great guard in Remy Martin, and brought in 2 burger boys).  He just proceeded to lose to a sub 150 kenpom team, blowing an 8 point halftime lead, while shooting 1-18 (5%) from three. Point is, grass ain't always greener, and if a Wojo coached team did that in his 6th year, there would be calls for heads to roll.

I was stalking the UK boards the other day and was shocked by how much they hate Cal. He won the SEC last year and because the tournament was canceled they view that season as a disaster

Ha ya skimming that thread is pretty good.

Most don't want him gone. But almost everyone wants him to at least completely change his style/approach. Which is simply not realistic at this point in his career.

Mr Neilson and Wades are on record that Kentucky won't lose out. (Pre ND). Now that UCLA's been replaced I do not see them beating either UNC or Louisville.

Walking out of the arena after the MSU Duke elite 8 game, Zion's last college game, surrounded by Duke fans venting about what a terrible coach K is, how the game has passed him by, how he should have just fed Zion, cleared out a side, and let him do it all himself.

Blaming the refs in a game their team was called for 9 fouls total.

Yeah to be fair, that was a decent assumption at the time because ND is pretty damn bad...which says something about UK still losing to them.

Will be really tough for them to beat UNC(or even UCLA) and UL now. They are still Kentucky and I don't think this UL team is really elite so they could pull it out but I find it really unlikely.

A 1-6 UK team could really have that board looking Hiroshimaish.
