Mo played three seasons at MU.

Ah good point. I had forgotten that.

David Cubillan then.

Can't say Acker without Cubillan.

Wasn't there some weird thing with Acker transferring here where he basically announced willy nilly that he was coming to MU and Crean had to take him because he was McNeal's best friend?  That was a long time ago, though, and I may be remembering it wrong.

That said, he was a solid player for MU his last year.  I don't even think Buzz wanted him (and especially Cubillan) on the team, but had to start them out of necessity and they came through.

Elliott dribbles the ball too high in the few times I've seen him play this year. That said, he is an excellent defender and his turnovers this year have been low. And, folks, he can shoot.

The thing that needs to be done with both Greg and Jamal is to focus on what they do best. Greg is not a point guard and Jamal is a pass and pass/shoot kinda guy. Jamal is like Theo — everytime I see him put the ball on the floor, I cringe. Just catch it, shoot it or pass it.

Look, we're four games into the season. We lost one and maybe two we should have won and we won one that we probably should have lost. Give it a rest until we're further down the road. These are 18-year-old to 22-year-old kids.
