have we hit a 3 in the 2nd half?
This loss stings for some reason

The Sultan

Not thrilled that Justin isnt on the floor.

Three of last six possessions have been blocked shots. The Cain three was halfway down and that hurt.

rocky_warrior

Too in love with the 3.  Need to go inside more with this team.

mileskishnish72

Did Lewis do something? I don't understand why he never went back in. Heck, he's had a mask on since the under 4 tv timeout.

Garcia is the very definition of basketball soft. Holy goodness

Even though the announcers were pro UCLA Bill Walton even said Lewis got 3 of the cheapest fouls he ever saw. And the foul that fouled out Kobe was not a foul. But when you shoot 0 for 11 on 3s in the 2nd half you do not usually win.

True Lewis would of probably grabbed those rebounds Garcia did not at the end.

Johnny B

My god offense has a long way to go. 3pt shooting practice time. Just brutal to watch. abysmal 2nd half

That's the story of this one:

  • can't shoot in the second half
  • 18 turnovers
  • cheap foul trouble

Pack it up, boys, not much to talk about here

Looks good against the cupcakes.

Carton hit 2 FTs at the 12:13 mark to put his total at 18. He didn't take another shot until there was under a minute left. I though for sure he'd set a new career high (19 at Minnesota last year) but instead he was erased.

That and Wojo never putting Lewis back in may have been the difference.

Dish

I don't care that he had 4 fouls, once the UCLA lead hit 5, Lewis should have immediately been back in. If he picks up his fifth, so be it, but to not put him back in the last 8 minutes (when MU was frozen offensively) is beyond perplexing. I really don't get it at all.

MUfan12

Woj coaches scared when it comes to fouls. Has since he's been here.
