We have a lot of new pieces and it will take a bit to gel. Carton playing well, we are being smarter with the ball and Lewis showing some cajones

Better rotation. Carton is the best player on the team and will lead the team in minutes played and points scored. Carton needs to play 32 minutes per game, Torrence 8 as a back-up.
This game is still an L. Gard will make half-time adjustments.

Is something wrong  with Dawson?  It's like the last game just took his confidence away or something.

He’s gotta get better when he gets under the hoop going up strong. Keeps getting swatted

I think it's called being a freshman.

Scoop went from wondering what his draft number would be next summer to wondering if he'll get any minutes in the second half tonight. Wild.

We did a great job of going at them and getting to the line. If we can keep that up in the second half, I think we can pull this one out.

Got a clear athlete edge. Limit some of these TOs on the drives and we could be set

Generally agree, but only because Carton is a much better shooter than Symir and points are at a premium tonight. Hope you're wrong about the L though

I just have a bad feeling that a lot of the foul calls in the second half will be benefitting UW.... hopefully not though

Lewis feels like a Buzz recruit.

Basically what we all thought we would get out of Jamil if he played with any semblance of aggression.

Marquette is playing much better. Look like we hoped. Good talent. Good length. Good depth. DJ and Lewis look dominant.

It’s just a second half norm for us. No fire.

I will say Wojo is a LOT better with the timeouts tonight. Love the quick trigger.

Four fouls in 50 seconds. That’s not good.  Whiskey can shoot free throws very good. Trouble gonna be brewing real soon.

How can a 6ft 11 guy have three shots blocked in basically a half.?

Disagree. Haven't seen any indication of lack of effort. Definitely sloppy on the Theo pass to Garcia but couple of weak calls has been the difference so far.
