I will continue to say that I don't understand the love for Providence. They lose their stud, two other starters, two of their top three guys off the bench, and replace all that with a skinny big man from the Atlantic Sun and a solid transfer from St. Joe's.

But other than that, this is probably the best prediction that I have seen out there. I'd drop Providence to sixth and switch Butler/SJU and I think it would be perfect.

Friars also get 6’3” guard Brycen Goodine, the Syracuse transfer who recently got a waiver to play this season.  Also get now healthy junior 6’8” forwards Kris Monroe and Jimmy Nichols who missed most of last year with foot injuries.  Agree they are a bit high at #3 though.

Look for Depaul to surprise. They're the only school used to playing without any fans.

One DePaul fan is a Leit-no and looks at that poll and says, "10th again".
The other fan is a Leit-pro and says, "Hey, no longer dead last!"

Goodine helps their case. That is hot off the presses, just announced a few hours ago. Maybe I'd slide them into 5th instead of 6th.

When I see someone has MU in the top half of the league, I consider it a pleasant surprise.  I see the 2020-21 MU team closer to the 11th team than the 1-3rd teams.  This is largely based on the fact that, for the 1st time ever in Wojo's tenure, MU lacks a "scorer" in the sense that Carlino, Rowsey, Howard could keep you in a game with their shooting/scoring.  On the plus-side, maybe this is the year that the team develops a defensive mindset and team-offense approach.

Better than 11th.

We have Carton who might not be Markus. But he will still fill it up and overall just absolutely blows the other two out of the water which is another key.

Carlino was a "scorer" and that team was horrendous. You don't want Matt Carlino as your scorer.

I mean he's more athletic than Rowsey but depends on what you're looking for. I would not say he blows the him out of the water till I've seen him light it up against great conference competition
