Rob Frozena, walk-on guard: There was a game where we'd just blown a lead in the game before and we ended up losing the game, and we're playing Providence and there's a timeout and we're up like five points with a few minutes left in the game, and we're all emotional and I say, "Come on Jimmy. Let's close this out. We don't need what happened last time." He goes, "Shut the unnatural carnal knowledge up, Rob. Don't bring that crap up." I'm like, "All right. Noted."

Scott Kuykendall, sports information director: We were in Orlando and it was very rare for a bus driver to have music on. When you get on the bus, it's serious. But for whatever reason we were in Orlando playing in the Old Spice tournament and Miley Cyrus "Party in the USA" comes on, and Jimmy just started singing. He knew every word.

Scott Monarch: Jimmy wasn't even rated Top 100 in the state of Texas out of high school. He had around a 1,200 SAT. He could have gone to Rice, and he had no scholarship offers. Nothing. He goes to junior college, and literally, he's earned everything he's gotten.
