Our defense and shooting is terrible

There have been at least 6 times today when I have seen an MU defender run away from a Cards player driving to the hoop.  And then there is the shooting. How does a guard oriented team shoot so poorly?

Missed 14 out of last 16 shots. This is with Caracter and Padgett on the bench in foul trouble and on home court.  Sosa justs makes circus shot over Blackledge, down by 12.

Very dissappointing game so far.  Marquette just seems like they are going through the motions.  It just seems like we don't care as much as Louisville.

What wa that atrocious display? We do not deserve a top 25 ranking, and we deserve some type of coached team that can attack a zone. This game says it all for this season.

This team looks like they are emotionally drained.   They look burdened.  They cheer each other on, but they aren't having fun.  Body language is pretty obvious.  There is too much pressure on them and they cannot take it.  This was supposed to be the break out year.  Three veteran players, tons of experience.  I keep waiting for that Villanova 4 guard experience.  That was like watching a gradeschool B team.

Crean has to coach them up and they have to execute.  Weak in every facet (bad shots, bad hands, bad d, poor execution).  Right now they suck.
