TBT Golden Eagles - Contrast between then......and now.
« on: July 14, 2020, 12:08:45 PM »
Alas, it's great to see the true MU basketball spirit alive and well.  Excellent team play, stifling defense, flowing ball movement and flat out hustle.  It makes one wonder if Joe Chapman should be MU's next coach?  The Brian Wardle crowd should enjoy that line, while the Wojers will shake their half empty heads in dismay.  Enjoy this ride folks, it's the twilight of true MU basketball from the glory days of the 2000's.  You won't see anything like this, anytime soon at the Fiserv unless you're watching the Bucks.   Anyone know why Rowsey doesn't play much on the team?  I do.  It's the same answer as to why Markus Howard isn't on the team.  Had Wojo had any success at MU, the TBT Golden Eagles would have had to go outside the program in order to get players to build a championship squad.  Food for thought!!!

GO MU !!!

I can tell you with 100% certainty Markus Howard was not denied the opportunity to play on the team

Markus has done at least 5 Zoom training sessions for the 1500 kids enrolled in Joe's CBA program.  Markus is very tight with Joe, as is Wojo.

Take note of the posters that use anything (such as TBT success) to take a shot at Wojo and the program.  These are the posters that will never be happy, and will always find something to complain about.

The Ivan Drago of MUScoop returns...
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

What are you talking about? Drago has one redeeming quality by the end. This guy, not so much.

Such a dumb take. Chapman and the squad had come every year to  practice at MU and scrimmage against the MU team. They have developed a great relationship.
Goal is National Championship
