We live in a society that rewards mediocrity , I detest mediocrity - David Goggi

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

If I'm reading this correctly, this does away with the "beat an opponent by 10+ for max impact" part of NET. Efficiency is still a part of it meaning that running up the score will still be rewarded.

I think the NET revisions are going to reward conferences like the Big East, where for the most part the entire season is going to be composed of games against quality opponents. I also think once again strong performance in  non conference is going to be very important for all leagues. Once everyone gets into conference, it becomes increasingly difficult to materially change your NET ranking.

Big East teams should all be in a position to have strong team sheets come  tournament selection time.

I also like that they are adjusting the efficiency value part of the index down against the cupcakes.  That may enable coaches to let the entire team get some game experience in those games, which has not been the case the last two years.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.
