That first half was terrible...13 points in the first 16 minutes....same as the last few games.  I'm glad I couldn't watch it live or the tv might have been broken.

For my money, our two best players this year are Hayward and Matthews.  I think Wes has been playing very very well.  Steady, not forcing things as much as in the past.  Hayward has been terrific as well.

I'd still like us to put a solid 40 minutes together which we haven't done since Notre Dame.  Hopefully that changes Monday night.

Big 4 now and when Ooze is playing within his game,  we have a very good starting 5

I feel like Matthews is really the leader out there right now.  He seems to have the most composure, and when he gets the ball, you feel like someone is going to have a good opportunity to score.  He's really stepped it up the past few weeks. But Hayward is the best player.  He's got a complete game inside and out, and his free throw shooting wins games.

OK OK - Wes is a bad game away from being overrated, so lets calm down the superlatives.  The key is that we have 4 good players and they have all played together for 2 years.

I know I have been beating the Matthews drum rather mecilessly the past few weeks, but again yesterday, he was the straw to stir the drink. He and Barro kept MU in that game in the first half, and along with Hayward, really helped us pull away in the second half. After a slow start, he continues to have the season I thought he would have all year. Wes once again demonstrated who the leader of this team is (at the moment anyway).
