Well, he has a point.  How closely oddsmakers watch a team, know its weaknesses .. on paper, MU is #17, 15-4 vs. an unranked team with an unimpressive 10-11 record.    On paper, it doesn't look like a fair fight.

I was close with my early line, MU -3 (give or take a point). The game actually opened at MU -2, and the books almost immediately had it pushed down to MU -1.5

Today, Marquette wins on the road - we WILL beat the Bearcats.  We are overdue for a great game with all our starters doing well - so, on we go!

Well we have lost to UCONN, Louisville, and WV....3 top teams on the road...We are not going to lose all our games on the road.  IMO, Cincy is not UCONN or Louisville despite there recent play.

I do gamble, but very infrequently. I did try to call and get a halftime line today. Thought MU might win pretty handily based upon what they did the last 6 minutes or so of the first half.

I do gamble - but did not bet on this game. I, as a rule of thumb, never bet on "my teams". Glad they won.
