Of all the Al McGuire quotes, this one to me, rings loudest and clearest. Life is not a measuring contest of who has the most toys or money or perceived "success", it's about having a calling and true purpose. Plenty of people with big bucks and accolades are leading directionless lives.  It's about motivating others to be the people they were meant to be. Or maybe it is simply living an authentic, genuine life. Yet who amongst us hasn't at times felt hopelessly ordinary? That there's more than a little truth in the Beatles song "Nowhere Man?" Maybe as we move forward in the now-here, we can retain humility and grace as we strive to be better people. Who are you going to be?
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

A good reminder that chasing money, material things, and social climbing disguised as networking don't lead to a happy fulfilling life.
