No he will have to sit out next year without a waiver. He will likely have two years remaining at that point.

The MJS covered Marquette because we were really good and people were interested in the coming and goings of our team. We were one of the best in the country and we represented Marquette, Milwaukee and Wisconsin well.

Plus, it helped that the Green Bay Packers sucked in the 1970s, the Brewers were awful for several years and the Badgers were consistently awful.
The quality of stories back in the Golden Era of MU Hoops were outstanding , they were lengthy and no punches held.

Very rare for a kid to transfer from UW to MU.....or vice versa.

John Ellenson is the last one I remember.........I’m sure there may be a few others that are slipping my mind?
