What were the most important factors in order of importance in today's defensive improvement over the Creighton game.
My take is:

A: Matchup
B: Coaching
C: Players focus and energy
D: Home court

What do you think?

GoldenZebra

Player focus and home court were the biggest keys to todays defensive effort. On paper and technically speaking, Nova is a worse matchup for MU than Creighton. MU should have had no trouble defending Creighton yet the lack of effort on defense showed.

Fair enough.  I ranked coaching above player focus because hopefully that is a by product of coaching. As far as the matchup, on paper I might agree but in animated 3D not so much. Didn't see home court as much of a factor today especially with Markus fouling out.

I'm no expert. What did you see different from the Creighton game?
