Road game.  Home game.

This.  I *hope* MU steals a couple on the road this year.  But CBB this year is all about home/road.  Especially in leagues like the BE/B10 where most teams are well above average.

Road. Home.  This is sports and fairly common occurrence.

Just ask Wisconsin....oh wait, don't. ;)

Wednesday wasn't just due to being on the road. Wojo didn't have them ready to play defense. Maybe I'm being a MU homer, but there is no way CU is that much better than MU if MU plays with the defensive effort they did today. (not saying we would have won but we would not have been run out of the gym)

Yup.

The Nova team that we just beat had a couple of nice home wins vs X and (then #1) KU, then lost on the road to MU. The Creighton team that manhandled us in Omaha just got blown out on the road. Etc., etc.

Don't ever try to figure out a woman.  College basketball is a bit easier....young kids playing away from home is usually the reason.

I get the road/home dynamic but decent teams are able to grind out a couple unexpected wins on the road.  I really hope we can pull that off this year.

That's what the K State game was.  Hopefully can get 1 or 2 elsewhere

No. Defense is about desire and effort.  Those are things that can be present if you're 8 to 12, let alone 18 to 22.

Not getting the effort falls at the feet of the coaches. I have said this before, if a player isn't giving 100% on defense, sit his @ss for the rest of the game.  Even if it's Markus.  Watch how fast our defense improves and how consistent it becomes.

That's exactly what Nova fans are thinking today, and what I said above. Enjoy the win.

Every win is a good win; every road win is a very good win; every win over a top 10 team is a great win.

Scoopers who only want to rip apparently haven't seen many college hoops games this season.

The Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde dynamic of this team gives me heart attacks. Even between halves today - that was one ugly stretch for about 10 minutes in the 2nd half.

Offense will come and go. That's why being able to defend all game is so important.

I think if you ask Wright he'd have been happy to have even one half of good offense today.

They were up all night in Omaha looking for something to do?  That can actually happen.  Hell.  That explains everything.

MU has played 3 bleeping road games this year.  1-2.   8 more to go.  I anticipate 3-6 or 4-5.   You may want to consider Depends if you can't handle the home/road dynamic.

We R Final Four

With all this talk about home vs. road....MU is also not going 9-0 at home in conference. Will need to get those losses back and then some on the road, dependent on Who we loss to.
