Especially the students who made their presence known.  Screw mother nature, you guys rocked.

The students did represent well..Cannot wait for the Madison and Big East games..word on the street is that there are approx. 400 more students tix than spots at the BC. Its gonna be a full house.

Yup, the student section was great tonight.  Should be like that for every game.  Filled the lower bowl, and was about 70% full in the upper sections.

"400 more student tickets than spots"??  Whoa.  Marquette sold standing room only seats?  That's a real head scratcher.

HoopDreams

As for the student tickets, a friend who works in the ticket office said that was the situation..and personally I have no idea how that all works or what they are gonna due for the bigger games..particularly Madison. I know they opened up two whole new sections in the BC (in the upper level) for students this year. Great to see all the students coming out for the games, however, the BC employees are becoming pretty strict with everything (saving seats, etc.).

Yeah they are. We got a little sheet telling us what we cannot do for the Wisconsin game. One of which is that we can't be on BC grounds until 7 am. Also we cannot save any seats or spots in line (I really don't have a big problem with that, I and my friends that want good seats will be there early). Even tonight I had trouble getting a friend into the section, apparently they thought there were no seats left, even though we had one more saved for him.  I don't remember that happening at all last year until conference games.

My guess is they will put the overflow students in Sections 428 and 429, in the upper corners. Great turnout tonight, although it has to be said that they took section 225 away from the students this weekend, causing more people to go upstairs. Even with that section, the upper deck would have been at least half full, which is an accomplishment for Northwestern St.

I know we have two more home games before then, but I can't wait for UW... that building is going to be one of the most electric atmospheres MU has ever had at the Bradley Center.

Last time we played Madison, I believe it was 300-400 students that still had not picked up their tickets.

Generally, even though the sections look full, the highest percentage of students was 97% for Notre Dame last year.

Also, red will not be tolerated in the student section this year due to the oversell.
