Don't be jealous of Pearls orange suit.  Correct me if I am wrong, he has been successful at UT so he can wear whatever he wants.  The orange suit is unique and the fans love it.  I wish he'd wear it against Florida (in addition to UK and Vandy)

I was just at the MU Women's game. During half-time I called someone for an update on all the Big East scores at the time and he told me Cincy was killing WVU. Upon hearing this I kind of freaked out a little bit and said something to the effect of, "You have got to be kidding me... we have to go play at Cincy this weekend and it's bad enough that we can't win on the road anyhow... so it REALLY doesn't help that they're going to win this one". Just as I was saying this, Wes Matthews walked by and gave me just about the dirtiest look I've ever seen anyone give me. At first I thought it was kind of funny but then I realized it may have been validated considering my... well pessimism about the WVU/Cincy game... Hopefully he got positive reinforcement from other fans...

Im glad you think Pearl is an attention whore.  He has also won more games than MU in the past 3 seasons.  Hes taken his team to the sweet sixteen in the past 3 seasons.  He may parade around like that, but guess what, he keeps people talking about UT.  Its the reason he has been getting top 5 recruiting classes.  Kids want top be on TV, Pearl puts his players on TV.  Simple as that.

I don't think this game has any effect on the MU game... if you watched the game, like I did, you would notice that West Virginia did shoot terrible, but had little to do with Cinci's D... missing open threes (like the ones they hit on us), missing open layups, just not their night.

I see symmetry here, stay with me...We come off a huge, impossible win against UConn two years ago, then Cincy comes in and smacks us upside the head.  Cincy is coming off a huge, impossible win by slaughtering WVU... As long as McNeal doesn't get so many shots stuffed down his throat that a guy gets a triple-double I think we're due to start playing well.

Mac, you could substitute Marquette for West Virginia in your post and none of us could tell the difference:
