Finally finished The Queen's Gambit over the weekend.  Fantastic! Very enjoyable.

Two episodes left of Season 4 of The Crown.  Intriguing and as good as the previous 3 seasons.  I agree, whoever here said Margaret Thatcher is awful.  There's like nothing admirable or likable about her at all other than her will to defend British citizens in the Falklands.  Refusing to boycott South Africa over apartheid because her son had business interests there and infuriating the Queen so much to break her "never commenting" on politics stance is stuff I don't remember being only 13-14 years old at the time.

Yet, the Queen gave her the Order of Merit.

My wife and I started watching Bridgerton over the weekend. We enjoyed it and couldn't understand what all the fuss was about from those who were calling it "50 Shades of Jane Austen" or similar comments. That was overblown. Aside from a couple scenes thrown in there very early on to let people know that this was something a little more "adult" than your usual period piece, it was pretty tame in that regard. Mind you that we've only watched three episodes...I suspect things might heat up a little bit as the story progresses.

I've also started watching Wandavision with my daughter. It looks good and enjoyable for the classic TV tropes, but I fear I don't know enough about the MCU to really understand what's going on.

No one knows what exactly is going on yet either.
Just plenty of speculation of what may be going on.
The only thing that can be said is that Wanda is grieving.

I kinda get what Marvel is doing with Wandavision, and I understand they want to do something different, but personally not a fan of it thus far.

I want little to no thinking and a ton of action from my MCU content.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. My daughter has tried to fill me in, and I also watched the two short pieces they have that give a little background about Wanda and Vision.

Given that, one could speculate that Wanda believes that classic sitcom TV is the epitome of idyllic married life and that is running through her mind.

Mind you, it’s all one perspective/opinion on Thatcher.

Recently finished "The Americans" ..We didn't watch it when it first came out. It was good. It took a couple of tries in the beginning to settle in, but it was smooth sailing after that.

The Americnas was fantastic.  On season 2 of Sons of Anarchy.   FX has some great original series.

Justified and The Shield are the two best imo

SOA was great until the last season.

Friend recommended In and Of Itself on Hulu. Started last night, already intrigued after 20 minutes.

We really enjoyed The Americans. We were glad we gave it a try. It was well written, and, it had some strong acting performances as well.

Aside from the goofy Rozelle and Davis modernized stand-ins, I enjoyed ESPN’s Al Davis vs The NFL. A great prelim to the Super Bowl.

Like Marquette’s Al, the Raiders’ Al was a true character, a giant of sport.

I just finished S3 of Breaking Bad. It's a great show. At this point, I'm excited to watch the next episodes because I can't imagine any way that Walt and/or Jesse will be alive for two weeks, much less two more seasons. I'm very interested to see how they pull that off.

We are on Season 5. Good show. It took us multiple tries, and several episodes to get into it. So many people we know enjoyed it when it came out that we came back to it a few times. I'm glad we kept coming back to it. The pace picks up quite a bit in the later seasons.

They don't survive. They die. But as was the case with Bobby Ewing on Dallas, it was all a dream. Sorry for the spoiler.

Well they survived S4E1 against all odds. But I gotta admit I was a bit shocked by who didn't.

And yes, I realize you were joking...or at least I think you were.

Watched "The Dig" on Netflix.  Solid B grade.  Interesting "based on" historical story.

We watched it the other night, and frankly, it was boring.  Felt it was a story that was just some stuff that happened.  And some of the story felt tacked on.

Was it well done for what it was?  Sure.  Would I ever consider watching it again?  Nah.

We've been enjoying it. There are some real stretches of logic, but that's the case with a lot of TV. Cranston is outstanding, and the premise -- a respected, highly moral judge has to become uber-corrupt and immoral to save his son and himself -- makes it quite unique.

Framing Britney Spears was quite the watch. It’s brutal how she was treated by the media, and how little we as a society cared about mental health not that long ago.

Peeling back the onion on Justin Timberlake’s career is certainly more interesting now. Not in a good way either.
