I think you'd get more response had you entitled the thread "Famous Cincinnati Felons."

Any pics of basketball players that actually graduated?  Is that unfair to the non-Huggins era players?

TallTitan34

Jessica Simpson won't be cheering for Cinci any time soon. . .

Mayor McCheese

... apparently Jason Maxiell did graduate, amazing, I know.

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

Pepperoni_Cannoli

Nick Lachey didn't actually go to Cincinnati;he's just a dork.

"Growing up in Ohio, Nick attended Cincinnati's well-regarded public School for Creative and Performing Arts, developing his vocal talent and aspiring to become an entertainer. After graduation, he began studying at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, majoring in sports medicine. "

Yes, my only post has been to correct someone on where Nick Lachey went to college.

TallTitan34

Hahaha!  Guess that explains why it said "went to school IN Cincinnati".  I assumed with all the Bearcat stuff he wears it was UC.  What an assclown.

Would that make his cinci hat an ass hat?

I grew up in Milwaukee and remember Sidney Moncreif as being one of the first prominent ballers to weight train, but man, look at Big O (yes that was his nickname).  What a freakin' stud.  I believe he played in the late 50's early 60's at Cincy.

Um, you folks sure that Sara Jessica Parker even went to college. much less University of Cincinnati?

neil armstrong went to Purdue man. From what i found, he taught at UC for some time. He got his aeronautical engineering degree from Purdue though.

That is correct.  Purdue is the cradle of Astronauts and Quarterbacks.  Over 20 astronauts including Gene Cernan, Armstrong, Gus Grissom.  QB's from Purdue have won 3 Super Bowls, more than any other school and passed for more combined yards in the NFL than any school.

Sarah Jessica Parker was kept in the UC horse stables.  Then Art Long punched her out.

I know, it's no Mrs. Matthew Broderick.  But it points towards the days of yore, when Cincy grads students actually did something... other than wind up in jail.
Relax. Respect the Process.

You are completely right, except for the fact that Purdue QB's have won 4 Super Bowls. And 2 schools have won 3. And 3 others have won 4. And Notre Dame's won 5. But other than that, completely right.

Notre Dame: 5 (Montana 4, Theismann)
Purdue: 4 (Griese 2, Dawson, Brees)
Alabama: 4 (Starr 2, Namath, Stabler)
Louisiana Tech: 4 (Bradshaw 4)
Stanford: 4 (Plunkett 2, Elway 2)
UCLA: 3 (Aikman 3)
Michigan: 3 (Brady 3)

My reference was about unique people, not one guy from the same school winning multiple (i.e. Bradshaw, Montana, Aikman).  That's why the Cradle of Quarterbacks moniker, because it hasn't just been one guy but several.

We have three unique players that have done it.  I completely forgot about Stabler's Alabama roots.  So will restate to say tied with Alabama, the most Super Bowls won from one school with unique quarterbacks.
