Galway Eagle

Awesome surprised he wasn't unanimous but awesome
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

MuMark

MU also recruited Wright and offered Winston and Lamar Stevens...........Wright was not in the top 100 IIRC and Stevens was borderline.

Cheeks

Congrats to Markus, coaching staff and MU.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire

Of all the players mentioned MU was involved (going from memory here):
Howard (Duh)
Winston (I think we got him on campus IIRC)
Nwora (Visited, think we were in his top 4?, was outside the top 100 when we offered)
Tyrese Maxey (Pretty sure he was outside the top 50 when we offered)
Lamar Stevens (Barely top 100)
McKinley Wright (Way outside top 100)

Our staff definitely has an eye for talent. Hope to see them get even better at reeling in said talent

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

MU82

Nice!

Also, echo everything TAMU just said.
"It's not how white men fight." - Tucker Carlson

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." - George Washington

"In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

Shooter McGavin

Very nice!  Let's cap this off with a post season 1st team award and a post season run to completely cement his legacy as one of the MU greats.  Let there be no doubt in even the most critical fans mind that he was one of the best.

Congratulations Markus!

There'll still be doubts. How many old timers are convinced that Wades the only decent player to come along since Al walked the sidelines?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!
