Well...MU beats Indiana in a scrimmage...which just so happens to be the last two visits for Dawson Garcia. If the decision is close, maybe this tips the scales. It was the Dawson Garcia bowl!

Guru—hearing anything on Dawson? You seem to be on this one more than anyone. Any info is appreciated.

All I know is he visits Indiana next weekend, and then is planning to visit MU sometime after that. There was a radio interview with him on a Memphis radio station and he stated he is visiting MU after Indian. No date was given though. Kind of like that MU gets the last visit. So obviously the visit will be sometime in November..which starts on November 13th, which is the same day MU plays Purdue. How about a visit the weekend before that, an announcement the day after and a signing and victory over Purdue that day?? :)

Markus only played 26 minutes and  took only 8 shots and MU still won. That is a good sign.

Morrow has to lay that ball in last year instead of barely dunking it.     BB looks gooooooooood.      Love hearing Markus and Sacar slap of hands.  Minutes dictated a little bit by foul trouble.     Fairly clear what the pecking order is.

Highlights were awesome - based on those we should have won by 50+.

They should Tweet out a lowlights video. Only Marquette Wojo’s team would Tweet our just the highlights.

Edited.

Should definitely cater to the nattering nabobs of negativity.     Show all of Sacar and Koby's 18 missed shots, show every IU hoop, show every dumb foul that Wojo talked about.     That is what twitter should be used for.

C'mon, Tower. All I'm saying is getting excited about highlights from what appears to be a pretty pedestrian effort is a little much.

Lenny, you and I were both here when a former poster lost his (mind) over the fact that Michael Beasley had gone for 40 in a scrimmage and that it would cost MU a seed line come March.    MU scrimmaged a Big 10 team and ultimately won.    It doesn't mean MU won a championship.    But being positive and finding good is a lot more fun than grousing.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. I just watched the highlights and MU shot 100%.

Let’s not discuss the scrimmage we just played in and instead discuss more meaningful topics like shoes dropping and newspaper articles.

Which is why people getting excited about recruiting highlight videos are the biggest joke of all as these guys dominate rec ball players.

Who said not to discuss the scrimmage? I'd just prefer an honest discussion to excitement over a highlight reel.

And BTW, shoes dropping and newspaper articles are Chico's thing, not mine.

So start an “honest discussion” whatever the hell that is. Are the highlights too dishonest for you?

I remember, Tower, and it was overboard silly. Look, I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy. It's a practice game. But let's at least be honest. IU is projected to be a bubble team. They played without BOTH of their starting guards. That's a huge hurdle for any team to overcome. The good news is that a) we won and b) with decent shooting we would have won easily. The bad news is we shouldn't have struggled against a team of that caliber playing so short handed. I'm not overly concerned but I can't feign excitement over our effort. My guess is Wojo can't either.

no comments about Markus taking 8 shots, and few turnovers?
