Mr. Sand-Knit

Joey will do fine in the BiG Ten there will almost always be a big slow kid he can guard on the other team. Additionally he will have all american size and athleticism to help cover his deficiencies.  As i stated originally significantly easier to guard big ten guys than BE

A number of high academic schools are very interested in 2020 F Aiden Flynn (6-5) of Milwaukee Marquette. Macalester, St. Thomas, University of Chicago, Case Western, Wash U all involved with Flynn, a 4.0 student with 35 ACT.

Sounds like a bright well rounded kid but he's mentioned here, why?

Anybody who thinks Sam was a bad defensive player has no clue about basketball.

Nobody is claiming he was a lockdown m-t-m defender, because he wasn't, but he was an adequate m-t-m defender against most of the opponents he was asked to check, and he was a well above-average help defender. Solid rebounder, too. And obviously, he was a brilliant shooter, though he did tail off at the end of last season, as unfortunately many Warriors did.

I enjoyed watching him play, and I wish he didn't feel he had to transfer; he'd have made us a better team, just as he will be good for Virginia.

Joey was only around for one season and he was pretty bad the second half of it. Mostly a disaster on D, especially anywhere near the perimeter. But he has the potential to be a fine offensive player, and it's easy to see why Izzo wanted him.

And yes, I apologize for contributing to yet another Hauser discussion in a thread that was supposed to have nothing to do with them.

Belongs in the Big East recruiting thread because St Thomas is looking at him.

Coached the young man in youth baseball-  nice, steady kid.

Very nice to get some 4 star out of state kids to take junior year officials at Madness.

Sochan is from England I believe.

Did a search and found Sochan is from England but attends La Lumiere Prep.  Treyton Thompson also attends LP.

Edit:  Ben Steele reports Sochan is from Poland, then played at a school in England before landing at La Lumiere.

Holmes is from AZ and was AAU an teammate with Oso.

One site in England said Sochan's mother is a Poland native and they live in Southampton, England.  Born in the U.S., so has dual citizenship in U.S. and Poland.

Braylen's father Seneca runs a basketball training place in Madison.  If I recall correctly, he worked out a bunch of Marquette guys when Vander was playing.  I think Vander and Seneca are cousins???

Eitienne, Holmes, Thompson and Sochan. That's four out of state top 100 type players. Not to mention Hunter from Racine who is also a top 100. Not a bad crop for madness.
