[Cracked Sidewalks] Purdue Preview
« on: August 22, 2019, 08:29:30 AM »
Marquette wastes no time getting to the meat of the non-conference schedule, as Purdue is the second game of the season. The Boilermakers have been a 5-seed or better each of the past 4 years and for MU fans to leave the Fiserv Forum happy will require Marquette to do something they've never done before in their history.

I was at the heartbreaker in 1969 and had a seat only a couple rows up. My heart was in my throat as I watched, close up, Rick Mount take that shot. Winning this year's game would be such a sweet way to mark the 50th anniversary of that dark day.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Game day bump. Here's hoping we don't need Jayce to boil Purdue.

Their length could be killer. Need to avoid turnovers (no more than 10-12 range) and minimize their points off misses. Threes need to be dropping too, early & often.
