Pan Am games roster announced. They took some players that graduated a few years ago in addition to current.

Cooley did his buddy McDermott well by naming some Creighton guys and also took care of Butler with some of their crew.

MU has no representation .

Marquette not represented because they will be in France & Spain for their foreign trip.

They took guys for the team who graduated as far back as 2016. Could have picked LUke,JJJ or Duane etc . It is Cooley's thing and I think he took care of his buddies from what I can see.

It has been mentioned several times on the FS1 coverage, that Cooley and McDermott are close friends, go out to dinner the night before Creighton Providence games etc.

I am only speculating on the others, as my experience from other  team sports ,is that these kind of rosters are loaded with kids from the coaches teams, which make sense,  and then kids from the coaches buddies .

I am not butt hurt or anything about it. I think our Europe trip is more important for the kids.

It would have been nice though if a recent MU alum could have been on the team.
