I think Iverson was one of the most criminally misused players in college basketball the past few seasons. He didn't fit Buckys system at all. In the right scheme I think he could have been a superstar
True, though he did give Bucky a lift last year especially down the stretch.

The game is 2 days before Hamilton opens in Madison.   I'm glad there won't be a conflict with my Hamilton tickets!

No.  I was just nervous when I saw November 17 because I knew Hamilton was around the same time.   But my tickets are for the following Sunday, so I can go to both.

Spoiler alert, Hamilton dies

Besides not fitting Becky's system, I couldn't disagree more.  There was nothing on a basketball court he did well other than jump high.  He's basically a stronger, worse shooting Jamal Cain.  He never showed any ability at all to handle the basketball and he did show that he had no ability whatsoever to shoot the basketball.

Totally agree. I used to razz my Bucky pals about this all the time.

Didn't say or imply that...it's just it seems to me, too many in this state root for the other one as well Unless they are playing each other. That isn't the way it's supposed to work...at all. You either bleed red, or you bleed gold and blue..there is no in between(or shouldn't be). It seems like too many people married into a "red" family, or a "blue" family, or had kids that attended one of the schools, or a relative or something. As far as the fans go, I think there is way too much "friendly" banter with this game every year. I don't know how anyone does that. I DESPISE UW, hate looking at their fans, hate looking at red badger crap, hope they lose every game they play etc.
Who gives a damn if people root for both teams. People like you are just grown children. You despise a college basketball team full of kids you never met? Ok. Its one thing when college kids get into it. Idk I just dont get it. There is having a reasonably rivalry and then there Is genuinely hating a school or team. It's just over the top and kind of embarrassing

Then it's not a "rivalry" if you pull for both teams.

I have nothing against MOST of the players on the team...It's their FANS I can't stand. I want to see them suffer as much as possible.

Again, it's their fans...they are insufferable...ever read Buckyville?? Guys like Ericthered, swenson, Butchbadger etc...Not too mention all the tool Badger fans I have to deal with on a regular basis.

I've been to several badger mu games over the past years and both gyms get loud and rowdy. There is trash talk and banter. Yes it is mostly "friendly" I suppose. But really what exactly are you advocating for here. The next step is more people start shouting insults at opposing fans. The next after that is violence.

NDSU is a solid add. Coming off a NCAA appearance, they return everyone except for their backup center, who left as a grad transfer. Based on what the rest of the league lost, they're likely going to be the Summit League favorites.

So far we have:

@ Wisconsin
@ Kansas State
Purdue
Central Arkansas
North Dakota State
3 Orlando Games

Is that correct? If so, good schedule so far. 3 high majors, 3 tournament games, 1 great buy game, 1 meh bye game.

I believe that is correct, and although it hasn't been announced yet, you can probably bet on East-Western Armpit State between Christmas and New Years.

I think that will be the Central Arkansas game.

It is a mandatory good faith gesture if we have any chance at all at  Patrick Baldwin Jr
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

If it gets us Baldwin Jr, make it a 2-for-1 with us playing twice at the Arena.

One thing worth noting, the last game before Big East play will be Central Arkansas. Typically, that slot is one of the weakest buy games. The Bears are projected as #292 per T-Rank. Milwaukee is #204 & NDSU is #140. Looks like the NC State lesson was heard loud & clear. Seems likely we'll have pretty good buy games across the board if those are any indicators.
