I get it....you really didn't know the answer to that question. There is no way that you possibly could have found the answer to that question in 3 seconds. Great job.

Michigan State, 2000.

Michigan (2), MSU, Indiana, OSU and Illinois have made the title game since then. I don't count Maryland in 2002.

about half the amount its been since MU has won it. Conference pride is great and all but Nova winning it means nothing for Marquette.

Well, Jay Wright did vote for Wojo as BE COY this year, so actually yes it does.

Nothing?

Strongly disagree.  Helps with recruiting, attendance, conference image, tv ratings, etc.

So it's been 19 years?  I heard all season that the Little 10 was soooooo good this year. The best conference in the nation even but they choked when it mattered most. I don't want to hear that bs no more.

Jon

Big 10 is a solid conference. I think it towers over the Big East right now in terms of excellence.

At the beginning of next season, there are at least 4-5 B1G schools with a real shot at winning it all.

4-5?
All is I see is UM, MSU, maybe Carson Edwards, and a lot of mediocrity.

Perhaps not next season but I think we will see IU, OSU, Minnesota, Maryland, and Iowa become a lot better in the near term.

I will say that genuine contenders are likely MSU, Purdue, and Blue.

Big East will be strong next year. Many of the Big East teams  this year were young and they also have quality transfers that will come on line as well. For a conference in a down year, the Big East did pretty well with 9 out of the 10 teams with a winning record (Butler faded in the NIT) and 5 20 win teams.

Not sure I see much difference in the Big Ten and The Big East  next year, other than that the Big Ten has 4 more teams.

Agreed.  The Big East was very young this year. I could see 4 teams in the top 25 next year. MU and VU as top 10.

The Big Ten was very good this year.  What you do in the tournament is a crapshoot.  For the same reason the Horizon wasn't the 4th best conference in the country last year just because Loyola Chicago made it to the Final Four.

Loyola is in the Missouri Valley Conference but your point is still valid.
